Las Vegas Engagement Photography :: Britni & Brandon

A few years ago Britni was starting a new job.  We all know how stressful and overwhelming that can be on it’s own, but she also had the task of training with a large number of people within her department.  Which meant there was a ton of people to meet, and names to remember. As the new girl, she had the task set before her to not only be good at her job, but also to get to know an entire office of new people; however, this came particularly easy with one handsome fella named Brandon.  Brandon was just as chatty as he was dapper, but Britni quickly learned that the way to his heart was through the athletic field.  Luckily, Britni was a bit of a buff herself, and the two quickly hit it off through heated debates about Joe Flacco and the Ravens.

Water cooler talk quickly led to lunches together… and when Britni moved just a few blocks away from Brandon… their time together only increased.  They became friends.  Real friends who did things together.  Things like playing catch at the park, spending an afternoon at the aquarium, and…. errr… emailing proposal videos to one another.  Wicka wickaaaahhh… what?  That’s right, a huge act of foreshadowing if I’ve ever seen one, they would email each other videos from the internet of random strangers and the way that they had proposed to their loves.

Everything that they did together was just, fun.  They loved being around each other.  And Britni thought that it was just that.  Fun.  And friendly.  But one day, Brandon professed his love to her.  It was springtime, and so Britni decided that she would give romance new life with Brandon.

Fast-forward a couple of years to a family trip to San Francisco… filled with excitement, trolley cars, and photo shoots in front of the Full House house… Britni and her family, with Brandon in tow, were headed to a San Francisco Giants game when they stopped at the Palace of Fine Arts.  Brandon got down on one knee and proposed to Britni by presenting her with two ball-game tickets to save the date for their marriage.  Britni’s family was, of course, in on the gig and was photographing the entire event from across a small lake.

She said yes, and Britni and Brandon are going to be married this September, exactly four years after the two first met on Britni’s inaugural day at the office.

It sounds like an interesting yet predictable novel. Love the combo of the lace ups with the dress. It seems very Swedish and perfect for walking through those foggy marshes that encircle the copnery.Sutaking of Swedes, have you tried the Wallander series by Mankell? I’m about half way through them now. Wonderful! I really recommend them. But if you don’t want to start a series, check out The Italian Shoes. It’s a stand-alone that is very much indicative of his style.

  4. I’m sorry, but I cannot agree with this statement. This hobby has evolved over the year. From tube-based radio equipment to spread spectrum radios, digital servos, turbine engines, electric flight, foam construction, and many more features that didn’t exist decades ago, yet show that this hobby is only evolving. Those are not fad. Where do you draw the line? Do we prevent turbine RC models? Do we prevent electric flight? I think it is highly presumptuous of you to decide what’s a fad, and what should RC enthusiasts pass up.

  5. I swatched the eyeshadows yesterday, Metallic Lilac was enic, quite pigmented and smooth, kind of like the silver shade but with a hint of purple, but Cosmic Black was a disappointing mess, the black doesn't show up at all except in gritty flakes, only the golden glitter stayed :/
