Las Vegas Wedding Photographer :: Roxanne & Kris

Do you guys remember back in elementary school when we would play silly games like… Wednesday is opposites day, Tuesday is twins day…etc… no?  Well, I do. Except, I remember that opposites day seemed to have never been assigned to one specific day so much as you just used it when you needed it. Like, you accidentally said something ridiculous, and then you could just claim it was opposites day!! For example, this might have gone down on the playground at my elementary school: “Oh, hi Richard (Ramirez was his last name… I do not protect anyone’s identity on my blog…ha ha ha!)… I like your Air Jordan’s today, do you want to be my boyfriend?” Richard probably would have just laughed in my face and continued shooting his basketball… and then I could say, “Oh, guess what?! It’s opposite day! I hate your shoes and I don’t want you to be my boyfriend, anyway!!” And then I could run away and hide.

***Sidebar:  Reina (Burrola) this ‘imaginary’ incident played out during 3rd grade.  You and Richard weren’t exclusive until at least 5th grade.  I wasn’t trying to steal your man, boo… promise!!***

Throwback Thursday is really fun, and all… but opposites day is freaking phenomenal. Can we all make a move to reinstate opposites day?!

I love that we’re all adults now, but yet we still find a way to play these elementary school games with the days of our week.  Today is throwback Thursday and it’s a great way for me to act like I’m being so good about blogging, when actually… it’s helping me cover up the fact that I never blogged all of these weddings before… so maybe it kinda is like a pseudo-opposites-day sort of thing for me? Did you guys follow that logic? Me neither.

Okay, so here are a few photos from Roxanne & Kris’s wedding from October 2013!! Roxanne and Kris came to Vegas from the east coast and threw a gorgeous wedding at Dragonridge Country Club.  Their reception was so much fun, you guys… it may have even rivaled the epic dance party that was Shannon & Bishop’s Dominican Republic wedding, but this dance party was more break dancing and massive dance-offs!!

This was Roxanne’s reaction to her first look with Kris!  I am so in love with this image!  I didn’t know Rox and Kris very well before this wedding as they were on the east coast and we didn’t email very often, but what I quickly learned when I met these two was that Kris is a pretty quiet and laid back guy while Rox is just full of fun energy.  This photo is simply perfect for showing off the amazing dynamic between the two of them!View More: http://j-annephotography.pass.us/roxanne_kris
