Homework Assignment

I always did my homework. Always. This doesn't mean that there wasn't an occasional... 'pssst... what's the answer to #4???' ...but I always did my homework. So recently when Jasmine Star asked us during her workshop to define our brand in three words, I discovered that I had... a loss for words. I know, I know... me? a loss for words??? riiiiight.....

The workshop was in May; therefore, I've been thinking about this assignment for a little over two months now. It has been one of those nagging thoughts at the back of my mind, so I finally decided to figure out my answer... to do my homework. Because I always do my homework.

I rifled through some of my recent shoots, and I pulled together some images that I really think exude the j. anne brand... here's what I came up with...

So... after looking through some of these favorite images, and really defining what I love about photography that I look to for inspiration... I have finally done my homework.

j. anne photography is clean... crisp... and contemporary.

Homework done. .... do I get an A+??? Lemme know what you think!!

  1. I like that. I did my homework, too, by asking my pals on Facebook! :-) Sometimes it's just way too hard for me to define myself because in my head I am WAY complicated. LOL.

  2. Miss Jodi...I don't care what you call it. Your work is utterly marvelous! Gorgeous photos. Terrific composition and use of COLOR. (And I am a girl who loves some color!) One of these days, you must do a session with this crew!

    Love,

  8. I think those three words perfectly describe your style and I love that you pulled some signature images. This assignment was hard for most of us but you nailed it!
